Weekend fencing.

Gentle readers,

Due to bringing home a pile of work Saturday was a writeoff for fencing.
Sunday went much better so let's jump to that.

Sunday morning's class started off with dagger plays from Von Danzig, I
think. Interestingly he uses the same supressing cut for dagger defence that
meyer uses for rappier. After that we moved to longsword and covered the
stuff craig and I went over a couple weeks ago.

We finished with some freeplay and I was very pleased with what I
acomplished. Especially cool was making hits with moves I knew the names of.
We mow have to start remembering to make the second attack as we move out of
distence.

Capo Ferro was repeating last weeks exercises but from the outside line.
Very useful because that seems to be a very common line for sca fencers.

We also looked at some offline attacks with the inquerta and an angulation
release attack. D and C both have a simialr problem in that they need to
practice their fighting more.

Tomorrow is rappier class and I need to work out my lesson plan as a rough
draft for the FITP class I will be teaching in less than 2 weeks.

Crunch time so does not help with this.
