Gentle Readers,

Yes, I'm doing a meme. Procrastinating without Facebook is hard!

Via [personal profile] skud, here.

Take this list, remove a thing, sort it by how much you like the things, add a thing at the top, a thing in the middle, and a thing at the bottom (preserving the sortedness, pedants):

(most liked)
Swordplay
Getting up early
Thermal underwear (personal note: only if wool)
Steam locomotives
Getting something in the mail that isn't bills
Porridge
Tidying
Dubstep
Twitter
Handknit scarves
Eating paper
Firefox upgrades
Nessie Ladle
Celery in a stir-fry
Undercooked Aubergine
Uber
Waterworld

Gentle Readers,

I'm seeing the "Tell me about a story and get a sentence" thing popping up again. However, my brain decided to take it in the other direction. So, here's the sentence:

Tiny black hexagons reflected back the light she shone into the crack between the wall pannels.

What's the story?

ETA: Just to be clear, it's not a quote. Tell me about the story that this comes from.
"Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask about anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, if there's anything you've ever wondered or been curious about or meant to ask me, etc. Re-post this in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other."

I'm going to do this, mostly because i'm really curious what you all think is out side of my comfort zone.
