Things Cortejo asked me to write about
May. 20th, 2010 01:37 pmGentle Readers,
I now present the things Cortejo asked me to write about.
Cortejo asked me to post about how amazing she is. Well, 2 days ago was our 13th wedding anniversary. Thirteen years we've been married. Sometimes good (really mostly good) and sometimes bad (depression, hypoglycemia, travel, unemployment). She's my moon. I'm her moon. We go round and round. From up here, it's the rest of the world that looks so small.
Cortejo also asked me to post about how I feel about Reyl (and the Pumpkin) moving in. I'm mostly excited about it. He's pretty compatible with the current residents and his schedules don't seem to conflict with ours in any problematic ways. There are only two things that I'm a little worried about. The first is that I'm hoping that we are going to have enough room for all of his stuff. He's moving from a fairly large 2 bedroom apartment into our much smaller basement. While we've agreed to let a bunch of his stuff take over from ours (like his awesome table), I still worry that we haven't gotten rid of enough stuff for there to be room for all of his. The other thing I'm a little worried about is the fact that his room is right below mine. I'm worried that our different sleeping habits (I'm a diurnal freak!) will conflict and we will keep each other up. Even now I worry about the noises my bed makes. Granted, some of that is because I think my squeaky bed has been keeping me up but still, I'm a really light sleeper. Oh, I'm probably also worried about not being able to have enough alone time without offending someone. This seems likely because I had a shitty sugar crashy dream about this particular thing last night. However, I'm just going to blame blood sugar for it and let it go.
