Gentle Readers,

I'm trying to finish up a draft of part of my document before getting whisked away to lovely Hamilton for Coronation. We were "encouraged" to come by their Highnesses (although we were thinking of going anyway).

The only downside is that I'm going to be sewing in the car. We've got a similar amount of time before the next one, but I should be in much better shape having already made one zupon (almost) and having a finalized pattern. Plus, buttons and couched cord are not that hard.

I'll also probably do more with the sewing machine as Buttongirl will be lending me one of her extras.

Anyway, I'll not be back on until Monday, so I hope you all have a terrific weekend and I will see you later.

Zupon nearing completion.
Gentle Readers,

One more thing before I go, from [info]theweaselking over on LJ.

It's not elegant and it's not sexy – it looks like a large photocopier – but the Espresso Book Machine is being billed as the biggest change for the literary world since Gutenberg invented the printing press more than 500 years ago and made the mass production of books possible. Launching today at Blackwell's Charing Cross Road branch in London, the machine prints and binds books on demand in five minutes, while customers wait.

I'll be in my bunk.

although I have to say it's taken them long enough.
