Bardic Competition at Hare.

Gentle Readers,

Some SCA related information:

I've mentioned this to a couple of people and so far they've all been surprised. Clearly this is not getting as much visibility as I would like.

Therefore, please allow me to inform you all that next weekend at the Feast of the Hare, The Baroness and I will be holding a bardic competition.

There are three categories:

Best performance of a period drinking song
Best filk, or new verses, for a period drinking song
Best original drinking song

The songs may be performed by individuals or groups and will be judged on such things as the catchiness of the tune, the humour of the words, the incentive to drink while listening and the ease of joining in.

I have made the prizes for this competition my self and I think they are exceptionally appropriate.
